I don’t remember the precise reason this ended up in my draft folder. I think it has something to do with Taylor’s otherworldly headpiece.

In the mid-1960s, a flight attendant for Braniff Airways wears a uniform created by designer Emilio Pucci. The bubble helmet was meant to protect hairdos on windy tarmacs as it was most definitely also meant to just look cool and space-y.
